Welcome to our Quick-Start Guide! 🚀
To get Orbiri set up smoothly, you'll need two devices available:
Device 1 — Your (parent) phone
Device 2 — Your child's phone
ℹ️ Note:
You can run both Orbiri Parent and Orbiri Screen on a single device if you wish (e.g. if you are an adult user, or your child sometimes uses your parent device). In this case, follow all the steps on just your parent device.
🚨 IMPORTANT 🚨 Please complete these steps at home.
This prevents Apple’s “Stolen Device Protection” from requiring a 1-hour security delay before you can finish the setup.
Before following the instructions below, please make sure you have both phones in front of you and ready to go.
Step 1 - Set up the Orbiri Parent app
Download Orbiri Parent from the Apple App Store.
You can do this by searching for “Orbiri Parent” in your device’s app store or by tapping the icon below:
ℹ️ Note:
Please don't install anything on your child’s device yet. We’ll guide you through this later on in the next steps.
Sign in using your Apple or Google ID email address.
(Either option is fine on any device).
Follow the in-app setup instructions
These include adding your first child to "My Circle".
ℹ️ Note:
You’ll find your invitation codes in the email we sent you.
Add any other children you have registered for the pilot.
ℹ️ Note:
If you’re testing Orbiri as an adult (meaning Orbiri will restrict apps on your own device with a set of adult settings), please add yourself to My Circle as a child.
Step 2 - Set up Orbiri Screen, the "child" app
Tap "Link device" in the PARENT app.
(For the child you about to set up).
Scan the QR code with your CHILD device.
ℹ️ Note:
If you are testing this as an adult (meaning Orbiri will restrict apps on your own device with a set of adult settings), instead of scanning the QR code, go to guide.orbiri.com/get and follow these steps on your own device.
Follow the two steps to install TestFlight and Orbiri Screen.
ℹ️ Note:
If you can’t download TestFlight because of age restrictions, please contact us.
Open the Orbiri Screen app
ℹ️ Note:
A QR code will display. Please ignore it, as it will just bring you to this same setup guide.
Follow the in-app steps to set up your child’s device and link it to your parent account.
ℹ️ Note:

Enter the activation code from the Parent app and tap the "Link device" button.
ℹ️ Note:
If your community has not yet gone live, you will see this countdown screen instead of the main spaces screen. This gives us time to ensure all apps are properly categorised.
At the displayed time, Orbiri will activate for you!
Step 3 - Lock Screen Time
Lock your child's "Apple Screen Time" Settings
🚨 IMPORTANT🚨You (the parent) must complete this next step without your child watching or knowing the passcode.
Create a unique Screen Time passcode (different from the device unlock passcode) to lock the settings. This prevents your child from disabling Orbiri’s access to Screen Time, which is required to block apps.
